The Baltimore Psychotherapy Institute is directed by clinicians who work in front-line agency settings and private practice.  All have extensive education and training in psychoanalytically oriented therapy as well as in post-solution-focused therapy, and all have accrued thousands of hours of experience in teaching, supervision, and treating patients. Because we realize that a graduate degree represents only the first step in the training of a psychotherapist, our programs are designed to foster continuing professional education, reinforce ethics and therapist accountability, and enhance patient outcomes.

Our training programs are structured to provide many different opportunities to pursue ongoing clinical education and to obtain affordable and relevant CEUs.  Our conferences stand alone, but are integrated into our other offerings, which include ongoing post-graduate certificate programs in psychotherapy, as well as individual and group supervision.  Our fall certificate programs are currently enrolling.

The Baltimore Psychotherapy Institute offers on-site consultation and training to agencies and organizations in practice and outcome management.  This is one of the most time- and cost-effective ways to establish an agency-specific therapeutic and training culture designed for your target population.  The Institute has extensive experience providing training and consultation to public and private sector organizations and facilities around the world on topics including addictions, marriage, family and child treatment, trauma and resilience, accountable psychodynamics, and many others.

Our executive coaching and corporate consultations, based as they are in our pro-civility initiatives, are designed to help businesses and organizations develop a better quality of work life, increase productivity, and manage change.  The Institute also provides coaching and effectiveness consulting in a variety of disciplines, including athletics and the arts.

Drawing on its community of highly trained and effective clinicians, the Baltimore Psychotherapy Institute also provides treatment referrals to well-trained therapists.
